The problem

You cannot validate what you cannot see.

Air is the one critical utility in a cleanroom that leaves no trace. Pressure gauges tell you a differential exists. Particle counters tell you a count was met at a point in space. Neither shows you the path the air actually took — or what happened to it when an operator reached across the critical zone.

A smoke study makes that path visible and recordable. It is the difference between asserting that your room protects the product and demonstrating it, on film, at the moment an inspector asks.
